Here's The Problem
The Future Is Exciting, But It's Also Ambiguous

85M jobs jobs may be lost to technologies by 2025.

Why This Matters
Students from disadvantaged backgrounds are less likely to take part in career development activities, while the jobs they expect to have one day are at greater risk of automation…
…this means, there is a greater chance that they might end up out of work.

How Can This Affect Your Future?
Your Old “Dream job” May Already Be Gone
While you may be focused on yesterday’s opportunities, jobs are evolving rapidly, requiring YOU to re-skill or up-skill, particularly in digital, leadership, and soft skills. The career landscape is indeed shifting, but this also means that opportunities are everywhere.
Remote Work Turned Your Bedroom into a Boardroom
You used to think living on a small island was a disadvantage. Limited local jobs mean you had to “go away” to make real money. But remote work flipped the script completely. Now your bedroom in T&T has the same earning potential as an office in New York—if you know how to access it.
Your Uniqueness is Your Superpower
You may downplay your experience running errands for your grandmother’s shop, organising family events, or dealing with constant power outages and internet issues. But employers are desperately looking for people who can adapt, problem-solve with limited resources, and work with diverse personalities—skills you’ve been developing your whole life.
What We're Doing To Fix This
We break down the complex + compelling ideas about a future that is constantly changing.

What's Creating the Digital Gap?
The Speed of Technological Change:
In a world where innovation is constant, laws struggle to keep up. The breakneck speed at which technology advances can leave gaps in regulatory frameworks. This not only creates uncertainties in legal and ethical dimensions but also demands a heightened sense of digital responsibility from emerging professionals like yourself.
The Corporate Ladder vs. Cross-Functional Teams:
Gone are the days of a linear climb up the corporate ladder. Modern workplaces are embracing cross-functional teams that value diverse skill sets. This shift requires young professionals to be adaptable, collaborative, and equipped with a broad skill set that goes beyond traditional job descriptions.
The Global Tech Gap - A Challenge for Youth in Developing Countries:
While technology connects the world, disparities in access and education create a digital divide. Youth in developing countries face unique challenges in accessing the latest tech education and resources. Bridging this gap requires proactive efforts in education, mentorship, and global collaboration
AI and the Evolution of Job Roles:
The rise of AI is transforming industries, automating routine tasks, and creating new job roles. As a result, it’s imperative for young individuals to stay ahead by developing skills that complement and enhance AI capabilities rather than compete with them.
A Message From Our Founder
Hi, I’m Annusha—founder of Bridge the Gap.
As my professional path unfolded, I came to recognise a profound gap in education: while students graduate with credentials, they are rarely equipped with the essential skills to secure employment—how to present themselves, tell their story, and ultimately, get hired.
You can ace your exams, earn your degree, even master your field. But if you don’t know how to write a resume that stands out, interview with confidence, or navigate today’s hiring systems, opportunities can slip away.
This truth is, the world of work is changing faster than ever. Robotics, AI, and machine learning aren’t merely buzzwords—they’re transforming industries right here in Trinidad and Tobago, from our factories to our service sectors. Employers want people who can adapt, think critically, and work alongside these advancing technologies.
That’s why I created Bridge the Gap. Not as another training initiative, but as a community where young Trinbagonians can understand how to work with new technologies, gain the skills that matter, grow through practical, hands-on learning, and build the confidence to step into the future of work.
We start with free workshops, because I know financial barriers are real. From there, we’re rolling out interactive training and peer learning opportunities—because we believe the best way to grow is together.
Whether your goal is to land that first corporate job, launch your own business, or simply feel secure that technology won’t leave you behind—we’re here to bridge the gap with you.
